Product Lead Commercial Satellite Terminals Program (PdL CSTP) delivers rapid non-program of record commercial satellite communications (SATCOM) systems to address challenges realized during current operations and in advance of critical near-term requirements for the Army, joint services and other government agencies. The office provides requirements support to the entire Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) portfolio, including a wide variety of tactical command, control and communications systems, equipment and worldwide logistics services.
The SATCOM systems in the portfolio support and complement the Army’s tactical network and architecture and help increase the operational reach and situational awareness of the entire force. As part of its modernization efforts, the Army continues to improve current and future SATCOM systems to reduce size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements, increase throughput, network extension and operational versatility.
